FERGUS FALLS VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK
Six polished granite monuments stand at this memorial with the name of Veterans from Fergus Falls as a tribute to these soldiers. Large gold seals of the branches of service seals are displayed on the granite pillars. There is also an etching of a soldier saluting an army tank and helicopter. The Pledge of Allegiance oath is inscribed in one of these monuments.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
A sitting bench, sponsored by VFW Post 612, is engraved with the slogan “To give back to those who protect our nation in times of need and help defend the rights that Veterans have earned through their service to America.” More than 1,000 large granite pavers are placed on site with Veterans’ names, branch of service and length of service.
