Jim was raised in Pierre, SD and is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Sales, and Marketing. He is a forward-thinking sales & business development executive, known for overcoming challenges, uncovering innovative solutions, and delivering world class service that supports team, customer, & enterprise success. Together with his teammates they’ve streamlined processes, developed growth strategies, and earned Superior Awards Nationally. As a run-to-the-fire leader, he is known for delivering results. Most recently, as the Deputy Chief of Staff while deployed to Africa with the Army National Guard. As a leader, he is committed to developing teams that are collaborative, highly efficient, and overall successful.

Jim and his wife JoAnn reside in Brandon, SD with their three children. Shelby is a senior at SDSU, pursuing her degree in math education, Ashley is a freshman at USD majoring in nursing and pre-med, and Sawyer is a freshman at Brandon Valley High School. In their free time Jim and his family hunt, fish, camp, and boat. They also follow sports their kids are involved in including competitive cheer, softball, soccer, wrestling, and football.
