Jess worked as a Structural Drafter/Designer for three years and as a Steel Detailer before the pandemic. In the past, she missed being able to be creative and assist with design process, something SGA now allows her to do. With her team here, she feels challenged and continues to learn new things, all of which help her become a better BIM Technician. Jess was a 2016 graduate of MN State Community & Technical College with an AAS in Architectural Drafting & Design.
Jess and her partner Carter are currently looking for their first home together, preferably a hobby farm to give them more room for their expanding blended family. They find happiness in their kids and two-year-old grandchild, who is well loved by many aunties, uncles, and grandparents.
Jess likes being outdoors, gardening, exploring the woods, cooking for her favorite people (tacos are life!), spending time at the lake, taking random road trips with Carter and sitting on the patio with coffee or wine and a good book.
