SKIP AVERY // CCM, CCE, CMAA FELLOW

Skip is a 32-year veteran of the club industry and former GM/COO of some of North America’s most prestigious private clubs.  He is also on the National Board of CMAA for nine years and 2012 Past President of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). In 2013, Skip joined his previous firm as Executive Vice President, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in the private club arena and a drive to continue to make a difference with managers and clubs around the country. 
Now Skip is bringing his 32 years of operations and 9 years as a club consultant to Stone Group Architects. He will collaborate with the firm’s design team daily, sharing his extensive experience in day-to-day club management and governance and assisting in developing functional solutions. Today, Skip remains as an active member in CMAA, and he will participate in events at many local chapters.
