LAKELAND VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

Lakeland Veterans Memorial Park lies beside beautiful Lake Beulah in Lakeland, Florida. The park features several monuments memorializing important events in history and others honoring the dedicated individuals who serve their country in all capacities. The .3 acre site offers a serene place for visitors requiring a place for reflection or wishing to pay tribute to fallen heroes. Purple heart recipients, prisoners of war, women and African Americans who served in WWII and all Veterans of every war and conflict are honored in Lakeland.

In 2015, the community came together and determined that it was also important to recognize those who serve a little closer to home. In response, they added memorials to honor their firefighters, law enforcement and emergency responders who have lost their lives in service to Polk County.
