Arlington Veterans Memorial

The Arlington Veterans Memorial was dedicated on May 27th, 2013, by the American Legion Post 42. The memorial is dedicated to local veterans and is a testament to the community spirit of Arlington. The park boasts eight life-size statues, twelve granite benches, nine flagpoles and four black granite tablets listing over one thousand veterans with connections to the small city of less than 1,000 residents. Through the community’s financial and popular support, the American Legion project was able to come to life.

We are honored to help preserve the stories behind these Veterans Memorials. Some memorials, however, have limited historical information available.
