Boyden Area Veterans Memorial

Located in Boyden’s Centennial Park, there are three granite monuments with the names of area Veterans who served in wars from the Civil War to the War in Afghanistan and Iraq. One pillar lists the names of 11 area Veterans that were killed in action.

This memorial dedicated in 2006 includes the engraved scripture: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friend. John 15:13”. A separate pillar features the Veteran’s Prayer Veteran’s Prayer.

Located in Boyden’s Centennial Park at the corner of Sunshine and Webb streets.
