Kingsbury County Memorial

The Kingsbury County Veterans Memorial, located on the grounds of the Kingsbury County Courthouse in DeSmet, South Dakota, stands as a tribute to the men and women of the county who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Set in front of the historic courthouse—built in 1898 and long considered a centerpiece of the community—the memorial honors veterans of all wars and eras, recognizing their sacrifice, service, and dedication to protecting the nation’s freedoms.
