REDONDO BEACH VETERANS MEMORIAL

In the center of this six-acre memorial park is a platform of honor, with a pentagon to display the emblems of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. At the base of the centerpiece are bricks painted into an American Flag star. Palm trees sway over the multiple flags in the park.

Engraved bricks with Veterans’ names surround the platform of honor. There are also concrete chairs for visitors to sit, have a quiet moment and reflect about our servicemen and servicewomen. Near the platform are white columns with sitting benches, and stairs leading down to the sand with beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. This park also hosts a playground and picnic tables for visitors to enjoy.
