Saint Petri Cemetery Veterans Memorial Statues

It’s not an easy task to coordinate the purchase and placement of Veteran statues when you live in a small town. Yet the 210 residents of Bruce, SD, knew of the importance of recognizing our military soldiers and coordinated the purchase and placement of five, life-size, bronze statues. Located in Saint Petri Cemetery, these life-like statues are replicas of Veterans, that represent the different branches of military service.

Bruce, South Dakota, is located straight east of Oakwood Lakes State Park. The town is home of Adee Honey Farms, the largest beekeeping operation in the United States.
