Project Details
The Sioux Falls VA Preoperative Care Unit is a renovation project within the Surgery/Specialty Care Service Line at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans’ Memorial Hospital. Previously a lab, the PreOp Unit was thoughtfully designed to prepare Veterans for surgical procedures while ensuring comprehensive, patient-centered care. The renovation includes 13 beds, three exam rooms and supporting staff spaces. Completed in 2025, it was essential that the project coordinated with other building projects to ensure there were no project overlaps in addition to maintaining proper function of hospital services during construction.
