The remodel of Building 6C Wing transformed multi-patient occupant rooms into a community living space following the ‘Small House’ model. The space was entirely demolished and redesigned into single rooms with private bath/shower rooms for veterans needing a place to live during physical therapy rehabilitation or for healing following a medical procedure. There are 13 private rooms and four rooms designated for hospice care.
