ELLA GUSTAFSON

Ella Gustafson joins Stone Group Architects as our new Interior Design Intern! From St. Michael, MN, Ella is currently enrolled in the CIDA-accredited Interior Design program at North Dakota State University and will be graduating in the spring of 2026. We’re excited to welcome Ella to the SGA team and look forward to seeing her creativity and energy in action!

Ella’s passion for interior design began growing up while watching her parents build their home. Fascinated by all the pieces that bring a project to life, she knew she wanted to be part of the design process. At SGA, she is excited to learn how design concepts move from ideas to completed projects and to gain hands-on experience alongside our talented team.

Her design aesthetic leans toward modern contemporary, valuing warmth and comfort in every project. She draws creative inspiration from local people and culture, striving to create spaces that fit the demographic and character of each location.

Outside of design, Ella enjoys playing pickleball, cooking, weightlifting, organizing, binge-watching reality TV, shopping, and socializing over coffee or a drink. She is the youngest of three siblings and a former high-level competitive swimmer for ten years. Her favorite quote is: “Everything happens for a reason.”
